King Richard III by GizTheGunslinger King Richard III by GizTheGunslinger
I made this drawing for the KingRichardArmitage.rgcwp.com

[link]

As you can guess it is Richard Armitage aka King Richard III. Once he said that he wants to make a film about this historical person and I think (as well as many other people) that he'd be able to do a really very accurate and thrilling film.

As a reference for my drawing I took a picture of Boromir from "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers". You can notice that his armours look familiar to Boromir's. But of course I changed some details. The stamping on his cuirass is the emblem of the House of York; fleur-de-lis (king’s lily) on his shoulder. And the banner he is holding is the personal banner of Richard III which he borne at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. It is a swallow-tailed pennant with the cross of St. George at the hoist, the fly divided blue over red, with a white boar and white roses (of York) over all.

Original size of this drawing is 15 x 21 cm.
Tools: practically all kinds of pencils from 4H to 9B.

PLEASE, DO NOT POST THIS DRAWING ANYWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

Thanks! And I really want to send him this drawing though I'm a little bit afraid that it could be damaged while mailing sending.

Yes, I would be nervous too. It is much too beautiful to be damaged.
